By chopping the nose and tail into a squared nub shape, the Key is an inch shorter than the Matrix on each offered size. The Key delivers all the elements next gen wakesurfers are after. The Diamond has been an icon in the P5 line for many years now.  In recent years, the Diamond Turbo came to fruition and is well received. The Turbo was added to the name after we enhanced the Diamond tail shape with a more boxed out design giving the rider more volume under the rear foot. More volume adds bigger pop and ability to gain more speed without having to be super heavy on your front foot. The Diamond is made GatorSkin that makes it ultra-strong while maintaining light weight for performance. The Diamond Luv is the high-end answer to the ladies out there pushing their limits. The Luv sports all the same features as our Diamond in a scaled down version. The full tail gives you back foot control without compromising speed. It features a single 1” skim style fin that will give the Luv a true skim style feel. Built with our eye-catching Carbon Innegra Vertical glass, it catches a lot of attention. The Luv has become the go to board for riders of all levels. This is tough LUV! -
We are pleased to introduce the Zilla into the lineup this year as a good ole fashion “fun” board! This mini log (longboard) as we would refer it to has,  already provided so many good times in its prototype stage. You can cruise and hang 5 all day but when your ready to do some power turns on it the Zilla is ready. It features a pulled in tail that leads to a wide blunt nose that lets the Zilla glide on any wave. We would recommend making the wave as long as possible for the Zilla because it likes to ride all the way back. The Zilla is built with Phase Five's FLEXtec V2 glass system. FLEXtec V2 gives the feeling of a traditional surfboard while delivering wake surf specific features. It comes with a Quad fin FCS surf fin setup. -

If you can't decide on surf or skim style, why not have both? The Phase Five Fireball Wakesurfer uses the popular skim style Matrix outline and is constructed with our buoyant surf style foam core. When you are in the surf style mood, install the included 3.7 Surf Twin Fin Set at the fin plugs located on the outside rails. If you want some skim style action, remove the outside Surf Twin Set and install the provided skim style DT Fin in the center position near the tail. Compared to our other surf style boards, the Fireball has reduced volume and rocker to accommodate surf or skim style riding in a single package. The Smokewagon, Hyperlite’s new high end skim style surfer geared for larger surfers in the wakes of today. Sized at 56” & 58” the Smokewagon provides maximum volume and the wide shaped swallow tail design adds push to keep up with wakes of all sizes. Building a shape that could keep up with world champion wakesurfer Jodi Grassman was the challenge, her new pro model skim shape is the resolution, introducing the Storm. Jodi’s aggressive riding style demanded a board that would carry speed and generate lift off the wave for her deep bag of tricks. The Storm features a wider tail to help generate the needed speed while the blunt tip/tail profile provide a manoeuvrable ride that tracks exceptionally well riding switch. The Phase Five Hammerhead Wakesurfer is king of revert. With a square nose and tail design, the Hammerhead delivers tons of speed and stability in both directions. Drew Danielo discovered that a traditional pulled in nose would struggle to ride backwards. This is where the Hammerhead triumphs. In addition, the peanut side rail design creates two contact points on the wave instead of one. This keeps the Hammerhead locked in and pointed down the line. Ashley Inloes and Phase Five developed the Mindset, a brand new shape with refined details specifically for smaller riders. Ashley revealed the need for a skim style board with less width to give the board easy maneuverability. The Mindset rides revert, spins tricks, has loads of pop for airs, and is a high performance machine small riders can easily control. We are sure that this board will change the Mindset of many groms and ladies alike! -
The MVP features full deck EVA grip with both tail and nose kick tail support for expert level riding. The only board built in the P5 range that has Rail Grab Channels, the MVP offers the rider a pronounced spot to grab when executing tricks above the lip. For 2022, John Akerman decided he wanted to change the tail because he was looking for more speed and traction for big maneuvers. The “Moon” tail delivers those needs. The overall shape from the tail up didn’t change at all which keeps the boards high performance and forgiveness aspects in check. We firmly believe the minor tweaks in the tail will take the MVP to new heights! It is equipped with a single 1” fin and double concave bottom with a V-Spline tail that gives the board a true skim style feel. -
The Hammerhead is the king of revert. Starting with a square nose and ending with a square tail, this board doesn’t care which end is in front. The squared nose allows it to stay stable and fast when riding revert. A recent re-design of the Hammerhead sports a peanut shape which is a concept that places the volume under your feet where pressure is actually exerted without rounding out the board so much that is loses speed or maneuverability. This allows for the board to actually be faster and more nimble than the previous Hammerhead models. The Hammerhead is made with Carbon Fiber glass that makes it ultra-strong while maintaining light weight for performance. For the rider that wants a ripping shape for 3’s and airs and doesn’t want to pump to stay in the wave. Ride the DNA like a performance board in comps or have an intermediate rider learn their first 360. Three seasons in the making; we took wakesurfing to the core, searching for what matters most. Through endless prototypes, and hundreds of different riders, we settled on a shape, ideal for the intermediate to pro rider, leaving an ear-to-ear grin on everyone’s face. -
Beaux knows wakeboarding, wakefoiling, and most importantly, how to co-design the most advanced new skimmer out there. He wanted a more reactive and lightweight laminate than a traditional woven carbon fiber so we worked with local aerospace suppliers on developing the perfect spread tow fabric. This material is thinner, lighter and has a much higher tensile strength. The result is a stiffer layup with energy unlike any surfer we have ever made. After we decided on our High Voltage Core, we then reinvented the skimmer rockerline. This brainchild has a smooth, stable rockerline running through the middle of the board for both riding switch and regular, but also has the ability to jump on the gas unlike any other board due to its faster rail rockerline. Feeling locked in with good tempo? Then, stay over the board. Needing a little extra push? Rely more on the outside rail. Predictability was also emphasized in the shape. A wider diamond tail allows for a more parallel outline, meaning shuvs and airs land with more speed and stability. A single concave bottom contour also helps maintain down-the-line momentum. -
Hyperlite’s world champion Wakesurfer Noah Flegel has been in the R&D room with shaper Aaron Stumpf creating a new skim style wakesurf board, the Transistor. This shape features a compact length for faster rotations and consistent speed down the line. The clean base design and single fin lend to quick release from the wave easing spins. The Transistor is a full woven carbon construction with a low density Biolite 3 core for a lightweight feel with maximum response. -
